Who We Are

Because this blog is for God’s glory and not mine, I’m going to refrain from trotting my “qualifications” before you, as if gifts that I’ve received from God somehow make me better than anyone else. They don’t. He gives gifts to everyone – literally everyone, including people who don’t even believe in Him (Joel 2:28).

I am just an individual who is, I believe, part of the bride of Christ. (I gave my life to Jesus of Nazareth almost 26 years ago as of this writing.) If Jesus is the Lion of Judah, then His bride must be the lioness of Judah; hence the identifying picture for this site:

Numbers 23:24 NIV “The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest till it devours its prey, and drinks the blood of its victims.”

Numbers 23:24 NASB “Behold, a people rises like a lioness, And as a lion it lifts itself; it will not lie down until it devours the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain.”

Brothers and Sisters, I present to you that the bride of Christ is the lioness described in this verse. The “prey” is not wicked or even evil people (Ephesians 6:12a); they have been overpowered by the evil one, and we pray for their salvation. The real prey is Lucifer and his minions (Ephesians 6:12b).

Site Purpose

The reason this site exists is to increase God’s glory. My hope is that it will:

• Warn you as the watchman on the wall (Ezekiel 33:1-9)
• Encourage, exhort, and comfort you (1 Corinthians 14:3)
• Build up your faith (Jude 1:20-21)
• Provide a place for you to post prayer requests (Ephesians 6:18) and answers to prayer (Jude 1:20)
• Guide you to understand how you have been equipped for battle through God’s word. It is much more than the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20)
• Serve you in living in and for the Kingdom of God (New Testament).

If we successfully do these things, God’s glory will be increased.

Be blessed by our God and what you find on this site. But always remember, God is infallible; I am not. Take everything you read here to prayer! First, it must sound the ring of truth in your spirit, in communion with the Holy Spirit. Second, search out the word of God as the Bereans did, ensuring that only truth is presented here (Acts 17:11). What you read should not contradict scripture.
