God’s Warriors: Call to Arms!

This is not about God’s Army at the Battle of Armageddon. This is about God’s Army NOW.

Are you a prayer warrior? You’re a Warrior; you’re in this Army! Every prayer is some form of warfare against the enemy. Keep praying! Pray the Scriptures. Pray in the Spirit if you can. But pray! While you’re at it, repent for our nation. Because the USA is a democracy, we are responsible for her sins.

Are you an interceder? You’re in this Army, even if you’re staying in the back with the supply train. Intercede for the other warriors, so they can keep going under supernatural protection, instituted through your prayers.

Are you an evangelist? You’re definitely in this Army; you are in the front lines! It doesn’t matter whether you talk with one person or hundreds at a time. Each person that the Spirit convicts to give their lives to Jesus because of your testimony is another victory for Christ and another defeat for the enemy. This is where the rubber meets the road! Take back our nation for God, leading one person to the right decision after another.

Are you unsure? Ask God. Not everyone in the Body of Christ is one of His Warriors. But if you are a saint, you’ve already been placed on the front lines if you are also a government leader at any level, if you are a judge, if you are a soldier, police officer, firefighter, or…??? Ask God. Then submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Let’s put him on the run!

Listen to Mark Taylor’s God-inspired version of Dwight Eisenhower’s D-Day speech to his army, edited to address God’s Army now: April 18, 2016 interview with Mark Taylor. There is more on this Tru News interview than this subject; I think you should listen to the entire recording – but if you’re really pressed for time, start now at the 41-minute mark through the end, and then come back later to hear the beginning.

As with Every word said to come from God, you have the obligation to pray and seek God’s truth about the word for yourself. God is infallible. His prophets are not; and some people speak when they have not heard from Him at all. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, then you have the ability – and the responsibility – to confirm or deny this with God yourself.

Not in the Army? That’s OK. You still have a critical role. You’re part of the supply train. Ask God what you should do to help. You can repent for our nation: Read 2 Chronicles 7:14. Maybe you can also finance, or train, or encourage, or…??? Rest assured, there is something you can do!

This same interview link was already posted today under the title, Trump In. Evil Out., with different emphasis and instructions for the first two-thirds of the interview.

  1. I was surprised when I read the title of your message. On 4/4/16 during the night I was awakened by the words, “Call to Arms!”. I was not familiar with that term so I researched it the next day. It is a summons to engage in active hostilities.. I think we need to stay battle ready at all times…Thank you for this message and Praise God because he confirms we hear his voice and directions.

  2. Debra, love your heart and energy for His Kingdom. All of you daughter warriors can make 3 or 4 people look like 10,000 in the Heavenly realm. Praise God for His obedient ones. We pray HARD and FEARLESS as we continue to get trained through obedience, He is raising us up. May the harvest be a great one for Him. Amen.

  3. Amen, Michael! The harvest field is Ripe! Pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send more workers into the field. I recently learned from Rick Wiles of http://TruNews.com that our prayers are more effective when we pray to God using his name, title, or description that relates to whatever we are praying about. Need healing? Pray to Jehovah Rapha, the Great Physician, or Yahveh God Who Heals. Need a creative miracle like a new limb or organ? Pray to Jehovah Elohim, the God of Creation, the God of Miracles, or Elohim of Signs and Wonders. Need a burst of superhuman strength? Pray to the Spirit of Might, the Spirit of Power, or the Spirit of Strength. Need to improve your memory? Pray to the Spirit of a Sound Mind. Need healing in your relationship? Pray to Yahveh, Jehovah, or the God of Relationship. And so on.

Using different titles at different points in any given prayer, you might address God by a dozen different titles in that prayer.

  4. Praise God indeed, Robin! It is wonderful to be awakened by a command of God, even in the middle of the night. It gives us purpose and direction. And double praise when we see confirmation of that word. We truly serve an Awesome God! Blessings to you and yours!

  5. Having received a new comment today, I just re-read this post. And I believe three corrections need to be made:

The United States of America was founded as a republic, not a democracy. The distinction is an important one, as a true democracy can be nothing more than mob rule. Nonetheless, her citizens do have the moral right and responsibility to repent for her sins. As well as the absolute necessity to forgive the individuals who commit them. And the obligation to take whatever action is both godly and legal to change her back to a God-fearing nation. Immoral laws (those that conflict with biblical guidelines) and leaders must be repealed or replaced.

Intercessors who pray regularly are definitely part of the front lines, even though their prayers are often what restocks the supply train! God moves— and releases His angelic armies— in response to prayers.

And those who serve in the rear— whether they are dishwashers, cooks, medics, supply-train guards, or anything else “in the rear”— are also very much part of the Army! Please forgive me for having implied they were anything less.
